The Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) provides individualized academic support to students. We know individualized support does not follow a one-size fits all model. ACE staff are readily available to meet one-on-one with your student.
ACE provides peer-to-peer support through our Peer Tutors and Writing Tutors. Our tutors are SJC students recommended by faculty. We also offer Smarthinking, an online tutoring service, provides tutoring in a variety of subjects.
Our Career Studio staff will help your student practice mock interviews, assist with writing a resume and cover letter, prepare for graduate school applications, create a LinkedIn profile, and get connected to internship opportunities.
